Study abroad has become part of the new lifestyle of our young global generation. And we at CBL International are proud to have been offering truly innovative, unique study abroad programmes in prominent locations for 10 years. By doing so we serve this desire of students and young professionals to travel abroad for academic enrichment.

“The celebrations of #CBLInternational10Y will begin in Dubai as our first 2016 programmes will end in this iconic city and trade hub of the Middle East. On 4 January 2016, all our alumni are invited to join our Farewell Dinner or CBL International Dubai Business School and CBL International Dubai Law School jointly offered with Higher Colleges of Technology and in partnership with Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management,” Tina Jiang, Vice President Academic Partnerships, explained. “Our academic partners, faculty members, and representatives of our corporate and institutions network are invited to join us one day later at the occasion of our CBL International Dubai Partner Dinner to celebrate our anniversary in Dubai. These two dinners mark the beginning of our celebrations and there will be more occasions to celebrate with us, which are coming up very soon!”

Our alumni can find out more about the upcoming Dubai Farewell Dinner on our Facebook alumni page. All alumni are more than welcome to join any of our farewell dinners around the world in 2016 and can even organise a reunion around such occasions.

CBL International Reunions Worldwide

The first CBL International reunion of 2015 took place in Dubai. All alumni who joined our Dubai programmes over NYE, our alumni living in Dubai, and those who were spending the Christmas break in this city joined us at the Shangri-La Pool Lounge for a great evening. We shared memories from past programmes, had the chance to catch up, and enjoyed the planning and dreaming ahead for the New Year.

“Every year more than 20 alumni reunions from CBL International programmes are taking place! Our alumni are quick to share memories from the reunions with us and there are even more numerous catch ups that we don’t know about. It’s great to witness our delegates reconnecting with all the friends they have made whilst on our academic study abroad programmes. Having your own global network makes a big difference, as we see so many CBL International friendships lasting forever,” Elizabeth Wood, Vice President Academic Programmes, added. “We find it reassuring to be kept in the loop with reunion activities from our alumni, who choose to stay in touch after a wonderful summer studying abroad.”

You can share all photographs and memories of your gatherings with us on any of our social media channels. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #CBLInternational on your photographs or posts to help us find you easily. Or simply email us, and we’ll be happy to spread the word to everyone who may be available and ready to join you. We look forward to the additional meetings after our programmes in Dubai this month, in Oxford during Easter, as well as throughout the world during the summer.

This might be the only Christmas newsletter worldwide featuring Easter Bunnies. The Facebook campaign for the Easter Sessions for Oxford Summer Business School and Oxford Summer Law School have already started. It invites university and college students as well as young professionals to join us in March and April 2016 in Oriel College.
“The 2-week sessions provide academic insight into a number of different business and legal topics through informative lectures led by an outstanding faculty from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge,” Cassie Xu, Academic Partnerships Assistant, said. “The Easter sessions are particularly popular with professionals who are seeking to brush up their legal or business skills. This is the perfect programme to intertwine academic and industry insights in Oxford.”
