Magdalene College (University of Cambridge, UK) and CBL International are proud to announce a brand new programme track for Summer 2017. In August, Cambridge Summer Institute will be welcoming students from all over the world to study our latest Medicine programme. With cutting-edge topics such as Medical Professionalism, Medical Surgery & Specialities, and Medical Ethics, this course promises to be both relevant and exciting for the world’s next generation of medical professionals.

CBL International CEO and President, Dr Dominik Wanner, said, “The addition of new programmes is always an exciting time for us. Given the amount of interest we have had in courses relating to Medicine it is a very welcome inclusion to Cambridge Summer Institute. We expect a lot of enthusiasm for it and in years to come we plan to broaden and extend the programme to welcome a greater number of future medical professionals.”

Big, Bright and Bold; Dubai never disappoints! We saw in the New Year with another first-class study abroad programme in Dubai. FedEx, Higher Colleges of Technology Dubai, DIFC Courts and Kempinski Hotels are just a few of the big-name partners we work with to provide outstanding educational programmes for our delegates. To celebrate this decade-long collaboration we hosted our annual CBL International Partner Dinner in January at the Shangri-La Hotel where all had a fantastic evening.

Elizabeth Wood, CBL International Vice President of Academic Programmes, explained, “It’s a pleasure to work with so many world-class companies and institutions. occasional-orchestraOxford Summer Abroad Sponsors Oriel Student Initiative

On the 3 March 2017, Oxford Summer Abroad will be proudly sponsoring Song & Dance concert at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford, brought to you by The Occasional Orchestra.

CBL International Communications and Partnerships Assistant, Matt Wallace, stated, “By being in partnership with Oriel College on Oxford Summer Abroad it is a true honour for us at CBL International to support their students and their activities. The Song & Dance concert is a wonderful artistic piece and as we have a very special relationship with Oriel College by running highly academic programmes together, it is through events like this that makes this relationship really shine.”

This event will be showcasing some of the United Kingdom’s brightest young talent in music and dance. Conducted by Oriel College music student, Josephine Korda, and choreographed by Royal Ballet Apprentice, Charlotte Edmonds, and former-Royal Ballet School dancer, Finn Cooke, the evening promises to be one of delight and entertainment for all.

ucsd-creditsExclusive – University Of California San Diego College Credit For High School Students

This year we are excited to announce that all delegates of Summer in Oxford and Cambridge Summer Academy and Ivy League Summer Academy programmes can now receive College Credit issued by University of California San Diego (UCSD). University of California San Diego is WorldStrides’ university partner institution and school of record.

WorldStrides Director of Curriculum and Academics, Dr Wendy Amato, said, “The opportunity for high school delegates to gain US College academic credit at high school level shows that our programmes hold outstanding academic quality. The University of California San Diego is an incredibly prestigious institution and their agreement to award US College credit for our high school programmes could not be more warmly received. It gives great credibility to the programmes WorldStrides offers and we hope to see many of our high school delegates benefit from this opportunity.”
